User guide and safety regulations

Hot Tub User Guide

Zalai CSEPP Estate · Garabonc, Hungary

The hot tub is available all year round, in good weather and bad, but may be used SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK and only in strict compliance with the rules for proper use!

  • Maximum capacity: A maximum of 4 people may be in the hot tub at the same time!
  • Temperature setting: The water temperature is set in advance by the operator to the requested temperature. Guests may not reprogram the control panel!
  • Controls: The hydromassage features and light therapy can be operated with the 3 buttons on the side of the hot tub.

Correct handling of the thermal cover (strictly mandatory!)

The safety clips of the thermal cover protect the structure from the weather and strong winds. Before and after every use it is strictly mandatory to unfasten and refasten ALL (4) safety clips!

IMPORTANT: It is not enough to unfasten only the 2 clips on the panorama side! If the cover is folded back while the 2 clips on the apartment entrance side are still fastened, the cover cannot tilt back and the structure comes under tension. The clips will break and the fixing screws will break into the outer casing of the hot tub, causing serious structural damage! The cost of any damage caused by improper opening will be charged to the guest in full!

Opening (removing the cover)

  1. Release all clips: Unfasten all 4 storm and child-safety clips that secure the thermal cover to the side of the hot tub (on both the panorama side and the apartment door side!).
  2. Fold in half: Fold the front half of the cover onto the back half (the side where the metal bar of the lifter is). The cover now lies double-thickness over the back of the tub.
  3. Push back and lower: Take hold of the cover (or the lifting arm) and push it back behind the tub with a firm, easy movement. The pneumatic telescopic struts gently lower the cover behind the hot tub so that it does not get dirty.

Closing (putting the cover back)

  1. Pull up: Take hold of the lifter handle or the edge of the cover and pull it up towards the tub. Thanks to the gas springs, the cover slides onto the edge of the hot tub almost by itself.
  2. Unfold: Fold the front half of the cover back so that it covers the tub completely.
  3. Secure: Snap all 4 safety clips back into place for wind protection and child safety.

Drinks and plastic cups

  • Strictly no glass: Taking fragile glasses, bottles or bottled drinks into the hot tub or onto its edge is STRICTLY PROHIBITED!
  • Where to find the plastic cups: Safe plastic cups for use at the hot tub are in the kitchen cupboard of the apartment. Please take only these out to the terrace.
  • Placing cups outside: While sitting in the tub, cups may only be placed on the wooden cup holder next to the hot tub or on the table on the terrace. Placing cups directly on the acrylic edge of the hot tub is prohibited!
  • After use: The plastic cups are NOT disposable! After using the hot tub, please always take the cups back into the apartment to be washed.

Hygiene and cleanliness

The provider cleans, maintains and treats the filter of the hot tub after every guest. Keeping the water clean during the stay is the guest's responsibility.

  • Shower and foot bath: A warm shower before using the hot tub and the use of the foot bath before stepping into it are strictly mandatory! (Body lotions, make-up, creams and blades of grass ruin the water quality in no time.)
  • Appropriate clothing: The hot tub may only be used in clean swimwear. Entering the tub in street clothes or underwear is prohibited.

Financial liability and extra costs

  • Extra water change fee (HUF 40,000): If the water becomes unfit for bathing and has to be replaced because of improper use or careless/deliberate contamination (e.g. food, drinks, sunscreen, cosmetics, body lotion), the cost of the extra water change (HUF 40,000) will be charged to the guest.
  • Liability for damage: The guest must pay for repairing any damage caused by casing breakage due to unfastened clips, forcing the buttons, or unauthorised tampering with the hot tub's equipment.

Strict prohibitions

  • Influence: Using the hot tub while under the influence of alcohol or other substances is STRICTLY PROHIBITED because of the risk of sudden illness and drowning!
  • Foreign substances: Pouring bubble bath, oil, salt, shampoo or any other chemical into the water is strictly prohibited!
  • Supervision of children: Minors may not be in the hot tub or on the terrace without supervision.

The operator and owner of Zalai CSEPP accept no liability for malfunctions, damage to the casing or health problems resulting from failure to follow this user guide, and will charge any resulting damage to the guest.
