Panorama Terrace & Steps

Zalai CSEPP Estate · Garabonc, Hungary

The terrace and the steps leading down from it may be used SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK and only in strict compliance with the following rules.

Attention! Increased risk of tripping and falling

The steps beside the retaining wall are only partially fitted with a protective railing! Please take great care when using the steps and always use the railing where there is one! After dark or in poor visibility, use the steps with particular caution.

No use under the influence

Being on the terrace or using the partially railed steps under the influence of alcohol, drugs or sedative medication is STRICTLY PROHIBITED! The guest bears full responsibility for the consequences of reduced reflexes and loss of balance.

Supervision of children

Because the terrace is 2.5–3 metres high and the railing is partly missing, minors (under 18) may be in the area and on the steps only under the continuous, direct supervision of a parent or accompanying adult, and must hold an adult's hand on the steps! Leaving children unsupervised on the terrace or near the steps is strictly prohibited!

Use of railings and pillars

Climbing onto, sitting on or dangling your legs over the upper metal railings and concrete pillars of the terrace, or leaning over the railing, is STRICTLY PROHIBITED and life-threatening! Running or jumping on the steps, and sitting on or sliding down the existing stair railing, are also prohibited.

Do not throw objects

Throwing any object (bottles, stones, cigarette butts, etc.) from the terrace or steps into the depth or onto the green area below the retaining wall is prohibited and dangerous for people below.

Weather conditions

In rainy or stormy weather and in winter (frost, ice, snow) the stone paving and the steps become extremely slippery. At such times the terrace and steps may not be used because of the risk of accidents; the area below the retaining wall can be reached across the lawn.

Access

Approach the lower part of the retaining wall only via the designated steps or across the safe green area. Climbing the vertical stone face of the retaining wall from below is strictly prohibited.

The operator and owner of the Zalai CSEPP Estate have expressly informed guests of the characteristics of the area and that the steps are only partially railed. The operator excludes all legal and financial liability for any trips, falls and accidents resulting from breach of these safety regulations, carelessness or improper use.
